Toshiba debuts Android mobile with TV Tuner

Tokyo, Nov 10: Japan based electronics manufacturer, Toshiba has announced the launch of new Android based mobile phone, Regza T-01C.

The new phone Regza T-01C has a 4-inch touch screen with 480 x 854 resolution. The exciting feature on this phone is its capacity to receive digital TV programs in the standard.

Another surprise is its camera specification. Regza T-01C boasts a 12.2 megapixel camera (Nokia N8 has 12 MP only!). The camera is capable of recording 720p HD video.

Regza T-01C runs on Android 2.1 and is expected to get update soon. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, Felica e-wallet function and Wi-Fi.
