Google Instant Preview: Revolution in web surfing

California, Nov 10: The search engine giant Google has made the web surfing more attractive and easy by adding a new feature called Instant Preview. This new feature for search results allows users to see a preview of a web page before opening it.

Google Instant Preview will appear in a small magnifying glass to the right of every search results. By this new service users can save time by not downloading the wrong page. The previews also help the user to evaluate search results without opening the pages.

"Instant Previews provides a graphic overview of a search result and highlights the most relevant sections, making finding the right page as quick and easy as flipping through a magazine," Google Product Manager Raj Krishnan said.

“In our testing, we"ve found that people who use Instant Previews are about 5 per cent more likely to be satisfied with the results they click," he added.

Earlier in Sep, 2010, Google launched Instant, which shows results as users type, rather than waiting for the user to hit the search button. Later Google added Google Instant service to mobile devices also. Users can experience the new Google Instant Preview here.
