Toshiba debuts 10-inch Android tablet Folio 100

London, Nov 9: Japan based electronics manufacturer, Toshiba has launched a new internet tablet computer, Toshiba Folio 100 in UK.

The new Folio 100 has a 10.1-inch touch-screen with multi-touch features and a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera, which can be used for video calling. This new tablet runs on Google Android 2.2 OS which is powered with Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.

Folio 100 screen offers 1024X600 pixels which ensures high-quality text and multi-media playback. The multimedia features include a mini HDMI port and DLNA support for streaming music, videos and images wirelessly.

Toshiba Folio 100 also offers Adobe Flash support, Bluetooth, microSD support and USB 2.0. It is also preloaded with applications like Opera web browser, Document To Go Office Suite, Evernote etc.

Toshiba Folio 100 is available in UK at £329 (Rs 23,577). Its launch in other markets is not yet available.
