Prostitution racket in JK: Retired doctor detained

Jammu, Nov 7: Jammu police arrested six people including a a retired veterinary doctor for allegedly operating a prostitution racket in Patoli Mangotrain area of the city on Sunday, Nov 7.

After receiving information about the racket, police raided a house in the area and booked the six accused including four women.

Under the name of Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) project, the prime accused Rajni Devi ran the sex racket in the area for a long time, police reported.

Police also added that some bottles of liquor and a vehicle of the doctor, identified as Inder Prakash Wazir of Bhaderwah area in Doda district, was also seized during the raid.
