Pak's stability important for India: Obama

Mumbai, Nov 7: During his interaction with the selected students at St Xaviers College in Mumbai, US President Obama said that India is the country which has biggest stake in Pakistan's success.

"India and Pakistan can prosper and live side by side; this will not happen tomorrow but needs to be the ultimate goal. The U.S. can be a partner but cannot impose this process. India and Pakistan have their own understanding," said US President

Obama also added that Pakistan is important to US and he is working with Pak government to eradicate extremism. Obama admitted that Pakistan government has to act more on terror.

He also told that India and Pakistan must develop trust between themselves. He also insisted about the need of dialogues between the two neighbour countries. But, he added that US can't impose this to both countries.

Obama stated that US can't withdraw army completely from Afghanistan. He described Afghanistan as more complicated problem. US need to follow Iraq model in Afghanistan.

During the interaction, he also asked young people to engage in public sector.
