Indonesia: Latest volcano eruption kills 85

Jakarta, Nov 6: Indonesia's Mount Merapi volcano continues to erupt and the death toll has increased to 85, also leaving thousands with severe burns, an official said on Saturday, Nov 6.

Many of the dead were from Argomulyo village, about 18 kms from the crater of Merapi, as deadly heat clouds hit their village early Friday, Nov 5.

The latest deaths bring the overall toll to 128 since the country's most active volcano started erupting on Oct 26.
