JK bus mishap: 8 dead, 40 injured
"Five of the 40 injured are serious and have been airlifted from Doda to Government Medical College hospital here, while one of them succumbed to the injuries," the officials of the rescue operation team informed on Nov 4.
The accident took place when the bus was travelling from Doda to Kishtwar and slipped off the road and rolled down into the Chenab River.
Chief Minister of the state, Omar Abdullah expressed his grief and sorrow over the mishap.
