JK: BJYM tries to assault separatists chief Shabir

Srinagar, Nov 4: Some activists of the youth wing of Bhratiya Janata Party (BJP), Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Nov 4 barged into a press conference of separatists leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah in Jammu and tried to assaulted Shah by claiming that he made anti-national remark in the conference.

Police sources said that the activists raised slogans against the separatists and asked them not to use the soil of Jammu for raising anti-national sentiments.

Police, however, arrested some of the activists as others managed to escape the venue.

The president of the Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shah was released from jail on Nov 3 after spending nine months behind the bars.
