Nifty closes above 6150 level, FMCG, metal up

The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 20465, up 120 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty was at 6160, up 41.5 points.
Sterlite Ind, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, Kotak Mahindra, who among the top gainers were at 3.88 percent, 2.71 percent, 2.69 percent and 2.44 percent up respectively.
Reliance Comm, Cipla, BPCL, Reliance among the top losers were at 1.23 percent, 1.00 percent, 0.93 percent and 0.89 percent down respectively.

Nifty holds above 6150; Sterlite, Sun Pharma up
Nifty continued trading on positive note was holding the 6150 level. The support was led by financial, capital goods, metal, technology, FMCG and cement companies' shares were supporting the market.
Reliance Industries, Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel, BPCL, Cipla and Maruti Suzuki were witnessing selling pressure.
At 02.45 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20497.94 up 152.25 points and NSE Nifty was 6170.20 up 50.00 points.
The most active in trading were Reliance, SBI, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank.
The top gainers were Sterlite Ind up 3.94 percent, Sun Pharma up 3.31 percent, Tata Motors up 2.96 percent and IDFC up 2.40 percent.
The top losers were BPCL Corp down 2.24 percent, Jaiprakash Asso down 0.88 percent, Reliance Com down 0.79 percent and Reliance down 0.71 percent.

Trading continues on green, Nifty above 6150 level
Trading continued in green as the Nifty was consistently holding 6150. Nifty marked more than 40 points gains.
Metal, realty, FMCG, auto and banking companies' shares were on buyers radar.
Bharti Airtel, GAIL, BPCL, Reliance Communications and Cipla were witnessing selling pressure.
At 12.35 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20511.75 up 166.06 points and NSE Nifty was 166.06 up 52.90 points.
The most active in trading were Reliance, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and SBI.
The top gainers were Kotak Mahindra up 2.83 percent, Sun Pharma up 2.76 percent, IDFC up 2.67 percent and ACC up 2.40 percent.
The top losers were BPCL Corp down 0.90 percent, Reliance Com down 0.27 percent, Bharati Airtel down 0.24 percent and Cipla down 0.24 percent.

Market opens in green, Sun Pharma, Ambuja up
Market started trading on positive note following the good global cues. Nifty was trading above 6150 level.
Ambuja Cements, ITC, Tata Motors, Suzlon Energy, DLF, Unitech, ONGC, GAIL, ICICI Bank, JSPL, Tata Steel, Jaiprakash Associates and Sun Pharma were making profit.
At 09.45 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20485.81 up 140.12 points and NSE Nifty was 6160.90 up 41.10 points.
The most active in trading were Reliance, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors.
The top gainers were Sun Pharma up 2.85 percent, Ambuja cements up 2.60 percent, Reliance Power up 2.56 percent and ACC up 2.51 percent.
The top losers were Power Grid Corp down 0.45 percent, BPCL down 0.42 percent, HCL Tech down 0.23 percent and Larsen down 0.14 percent.
