Omar Abdullah should leave his post: MP CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Raising Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah's remark on Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan claimed that Omar should quit from his post.

"If Omar Abdullah had said that Kashmir had not merged with India, then he should leave his post," stated Chouhan on Monday, Nov 1.

Urging for taking strong actions against Arundhati Roy and separatists leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani for their controversial statements on Kashmir, Chouhan also said, "Nobody could be allowed to attack the country's unity and sovereignty in the name of freedom of speech."

"Allowing this sort of freedom of speech would definitely send a wrong signal to the people," he added.
