Does media become accessory to crime: Arundhati

"What is the nature of the agreement between these sections of the media and mobs and criminals in search of spectacle? Does the media become accessory to the crime?" asked Roy as she claimed that three news channel vans were stationed outside her house even before the protest began on Oct 31.
Roy also claimed, "After they (protesters) left, the police advised us to let them know if in future we saw any OB vans hanging around the neighborhood because they said that was an indication that a mob was on its way."
A large number of BJP Mahila Morcha activists agitated in front of Roy's house on Oct 31 and they also claimed, "We chose to protest on Sunday as it happens to be the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who united the whole country."
