Situation remains largely peaceful in Kashmir Valley, stray incidents of stone throwing
Srinagar, Oct. 31 (ANI): The situation remained peaceful in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday with no security restrictions imposed in the Valley region, through there were a couple of incidents of stone throwing.
Late in the evening, some miscreants in villages Jamia Qadeem and Sunnarwani in Bandipora District, and at Ziarat Batamaloo area of Srinagar, resorted to stone pelting on security force.
The miscreants were chased away by the security forces and peace was restored. .
Earlier a person was injured in a stone-pelting incident at Peer Bagh area in Srinagar. Mohammad Shafi Dar, a resident of Gang-bugh, suffered head injuries when a stray stone hit him.
The Police immediately took Mohammad to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS). (ANI)
