Siliguri obscene MMS: Police arrests a student

Siliguri, Oct 31: Police arrested a student of the Siliguri Polytechnic Institute for allegedly circulating the obscene MMS clip of a girl student, who committed suicide on Wednesday, Oct 27.

Anindya Garai, second-year student of the institute, was arrested from the Burdwan railway station in West Bengal. After the girl committed suicide, Garai fled to Madhya Pradesh and was arrested when he came to receive money from his father.

"We had information that Anindya was hiding somewhere in Madhya Pradesh and was on his way to West Bengal by train to meet his father as he was running short of money," said DP Singh, Darjeeling Superintendent of Police.

Anindya Garai captured and uploaded the obscene MMS of the girl on video sharing website YouTube.
