PM refuses to comment on Chavan's role in scam

Vietnam, Oct 31: Following the serious allegations of Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan's involvement in Adarsh housing scam, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday, Oct 30 refused to comment on the scam.

Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh said, "I am not aware of all the facts related to the scam, I have read in newspapers that some politicians, senior military officers had taken over flasts in housing society meant for Kargil war heroes."

"When I go back, I will look into the facts and make a meaningful comment," told Manmohan Singh to journalists on his way to India from Vietnam.

Meanwhile, describing the Congress party as 'Corruption Party of India' BJP demanded the immediate resignation of Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan.
