CVC urges PSUs to fight against corruption
This was addressed in a seminar organised by three public sector undertakings – National Textile Corporation (NTC), Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), and the Handicrafts and Handloom Exports Corporation of India Ltd (HHEC).
He also hailed the recent e-aution by NTC, which sold off the surplus land and appreciated the leaders for the most transparent mode to mitigate corruption while ensuring the best price.
The seminar was attended by eminent guests from New Delhi and the speakers focused on how each private and public sector need to exercise with clarity and awareness of the CVC rule against corruption for the growth and development of the country.
The National Textile Corporation Limited (NTC), came into being as a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Textiles in Apr 1968, to uplift the sick textile in the private sector, taken over by the Government.
The NTC continues to implement a comprehensive management package for improvement in utilization, productivity, quality, work force, power purchase agreement etc.
