Twitter releases application for Windows Phone 7

San Francisco, Oct 29: The social networking website Twitter has launched it's official application for Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system.

The new application for WP7 allows users to get tweets quickly and easily. This application can be installed only on WP7 powered smartphones. Currently there are more than eight WP7 powered handset from different manufactures like HTC, Samsung and Dell.

Twitter officials told that the new application will offer all essential features like suggested users, timeline, lists, Pivots and messages. It also allow users to explore application during offline.

"Pivots allow you to swipe left or right to view different categories or types of information within a single application," describes Twitter on blog.
