RIM launches new BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone

The new smartphone Bold 9780 has a 2.4-inch display screen with 400x360 resolution and a full QWERTY keypad with an optical trackpad. The exciting feature on the new BlackBerry kid is the advanced Blackberry 6 operating system.
The BlackBerry Bold 9780 provides a 5 megapixel camera with 2592x1944 and a LED flash. The camera also supports 2x digital zoom and auto focus features. This phone features BlackBerry 6 OS, 624 MHz processor and 512 MB RAM. The new BlackBerry 6 OS offers a webkit-based browser, universal search and integration of all social networking feeds.
Other features on the phone include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and a micro SD slot for expansion of memory upto 32 GB. Video player supports 3GP, DivX, WMV and xVID. The standard Li-Ion battery offers 528 hours standby time and 6 hours of talktime.
The BlackBerry Bold 9780 will be available through T-mobile for $130 with a two year contract. The availability and price in Indian market are not yet available.
