'Strong foundation to make India visit productive'

Wen Jiabao
Hanoi, Oct 29: After the meeting with Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, Chinese PM, Wen Jiabao confirmed his India visit by the end of 2010 but he also clarified that only "strong foundation" between the two countries would make the visit productive.

"I am happy to announce that I will come to India by the end of the year (2010). For the visit to be productive, we need to have consensus on laying strong foundation," said Wen on Oct 29.

However, both the leaders agreed that there was enough space in the world for both the countries to grow.

Singh, on the other side, stated, "We are very satisfied with growth of trade and economic relations between India and China."
