Mukherjee to inaugurate Financial Commissioners, Finance Secretaries Conference
New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate and address the second Conference of Financial Commissioners and Finance Secretaries of State Governments and Union Territories here on November 1.
The issues, which are likely to come for discussion and review during the aforesaid Conference mainly include thirteenth 'Finance Commission Award' for States, cash balances for States, infrastructure financing and Issues of Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects.
There may be also be review of projects financed through multilateral assistance, financial inclusion plan, new pension scheme for unorganised sector, State Government employees, agriculture credit, recovery of loans, agriculture insurance, STCCS and bank branches in unbanked blocks especially in North East Region among others.
