K'taka HC verdict, a warning bell to rebels: BSY

Bangalore, Oct 29: Karnataka Chief Minister, BS Yeddyurappa, on Friday, Oct 29 heaved a sigh of relief as the state High Court upheld the disqualification of the 11 BJP rebel MLAs, a decision he dubbed a warning bell to those who indulge in defection.

“This order has come as a warning bell to those who indulge in defection. I hope this will herald a new era in bringing an end to defections in the country," Yeddyurappa told a news agency.

“This has enhanced my responsibilities now. Now I have to give a further fillip to development activities," he added.
