India-China to strengthen mutual trust?

India & Chian flags
New Delhi, Oct 29: Though the key political parties of India and China decided to meet to discuss Sino-India relationship, the question still remains whether the two countries would strengthen the mutual trust or again it would be a mere introductory affair.

Ahead of US President, Barack Obama's India visit, the ruling parties of both the countries would have daylong deliberations in New Delhi on Nov 1.

The conference, namely 'China and India: 60 Years and Beyond' would have a discussion on the political basis of Sino-India relations, economic and cultural ties between the two countries and strengthening mutual trust.

Amid strains in ties between the two nations, the conference is significant given the role played by Communist Party of China (CPC) in the government's external affairs policy formation.
