Top CWG contractors under Income Tax scanner

New Delhi, Oct 28: Following the investigation in alleged Commonwealth Games corruption, the Income Tax officials raided two well-known companies related to the Games in New Delhi on Oct 28.

Satya Prakash Constructions, which provided landscaping services for the CWG, and Shiv Naresh Sports which provided tracksuits for the Games were come under the in-depth inquiry of the IT officials.

As the investigation has been taken place so far, it reminded Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh's remark that those who "shamed the country" through corrupt practices would be punished.
