Suu Kyi
Hanoi, Oct 26: On the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit here, Indonesian foreign minister Marty Natalegawa on Thursday, Oct 26 indicated that Myanmar's detained pro-democracy leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, may be freed from house arrest in Nov 2010.

"It was our understanding that she would have served her sentence in November," he told reporters.

To a question if his Myanmar counterpart, Nyan Win, had given any indication of Suu Kyi's release, Natalegawa replied, "Once the prison term of her sentence expires, and she has served her sentence, and that notion was not disputed."
