Prince Harry's helicopter instructor arrested over sex pest claims
London, Oct 28 (ANI): Prince Harry's helicopter instructor, an army major, has been arrested over claims he is a sex pest.
Chris Hearn, 48, was taken into custody after he was accused of 'propositioning' a female cleaner at the Army Air Corps base in Middle Wallop, Hants.
Ministry of Defence police investigated her complaints before handing the matter to local police.
The dad of one taught Harry to fly choppers and leads the team training him to pilot the 46million pound Apache gunship.
Rex Harry, 26, who is third in line to the throne, has asked to be kept informed.
Major Hearn joined the Army as a private and became an officer in 2000 and was promoted to a Major in 2007 as he wa considered an 'excellent officer'.
Top brass have allowed him to carry on working while police carry on the investigation.
"Hampshire Police are investigating and it would be inappropriate to comment further," the Sun quoted the MoD as saying. (ANI)
