Bihar polls: Final phase to begin on Nov 20

Patna, Oct 27: As the Bihar elections are in progress, the Election Commission on Wednesday, Oct 27 announced the sixth and final phase would take place on Nov 20.

He issued that Nov 3 would be the last date for filing nominations and scrutiny of papers while Nov 6 would be a day for withdrawal of candidature.

Sources said out of 26 constituencies, polling in Maoist affected constituencies of Bhabua, Chainpur, Chenari(SC), Sasaram, Dinara, Dehri, Karakat, Goh, Nabinagar, Kutumba(SC), Rafiganj, Gurua, Sherghati, Imamgang(SC), Barachatti(SC) and Tikari will be conducted between 7 am to 3 pm, while for the rest it will be held from 7 am to 5 pm.
