No Apple iPads at home: Bill Gates

San Francisco, Oct 26: Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates on Tuesday, Oct 26 has instituted a ban on Apple products in the house after their kids pestered them for an iPod music player.

Sources said if a person is invited to Gates' house there would not be any Apple product.

When asked of Malinda owned an iPod, she responded, "No, I have a Zune," referring to Microsoft's much less successful music player.

Pressed on whether her children clamour for she stated, "I have gotten that argument: 'You may have a Zune'."

Futher When asked if she had an iPad, she responded, "Of course not." And when asked if rumours of Bill Gates using a Mac laptop were true, she answered, "False. Nothing crosses the threshold of our doorstep."
