Income Tax raids on Karnataka BJP MLAs continue

Bellary, Oct 26: On the second day of Income Tax raids in Karnataka, the officials targeted seven more Bharatiya Janata Party legislators residence in Bellary district on Tuesday, Oct 26.

Search teams headed by G Rajeshwara Rao, Director General (Investigation), Karnataka and Goa also targeted Tourism Minister G Janardhana Reddy, Revenue Minister G Karunakar Reddy and Health Minister B Sreeramulu in Hospet and Bellary.

Residence of the Janardhana Reddy and Karunakar Reddy in Bellary and their rooms in Bangalore were searched. During the search operations several documents have been seized, the sources said.

BJP legislators like B Nagendra and TH Suresh Babu were also on the target list of IT officials on the second day of the raids.

Earlier, on Monday, Oct 25, IT department raided at several places including the Offices and residences BJP MLAs Suresh Babu and B Nagendra, Tourism Minister G Janardhan Reddy's personal secretary Ali Khan.
