Former Oz PM Howard faces shoe attack

Melbourne, Oct 26: While defending his decision to send troops to Iraq in an interview, former Australian Prime Minister, John Howard faced shoe attack on Oct 25.

During the interview, which mainly focused controversial aspects of Howard's tenure, with questions on the Iraq War and many more, an irate man threw two shoes at 71-year-old Howard.

"That is for Iraqi dead,"said the man, who was removed from the studio.

Beside the man, another lady also blamed the former prime minister as saying, "You've got blood on your hands."

Earlier, former US president, George W Bush and Chinese premier, Wen Jibao had such dubious also experience when shoes were thrown at them.
