Bihar: SP's aide detained over spying for Maoists

Munger, Oct 25: The private aide of Supretendent of Police of Munger district in Bihar was detained on Oct 25 over supplying confidential information to the Maoists.

During a press conference, SP, M Sunil Naik informed that his personal assistant, sub-inspector, Mohammed Salim Ahasan provided information about the actions and movements of the SP to Maoists for a long time.

Naik also stated, "Ahasan also gave information about the then superintendent of police KC Surendra Babu who was killed in a landmine blast by Maoists 2005."
