Interlocutors meet senior journalists in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 24: After newly appointed as mediators to settle Kashmir issue, the three interlocutors met some of the senior journalists like Shujaat Bukhari and Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo in Srinagar, on Sunday, Oct 24.

They also met a delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Gujjar Mahasabha and a meeting with the Governor is also fixed.

Three interlocutors, eminent journalist, Dileep Padgaonkar; noted academician, Radha Kumar and former CIC member, M M Ansar, who landed in valley on Oct 23, will stay in for four days, during which they will meet a number of people including youth, students, party leaders and even separatists if they are willing to meet them.

According to the sources the interlocutors are also expected to visit Srinagar's Central Jail to meet people arrested in the recent Kashmir crisis.

The interlocutors will be visiting the state at least once a month to continue the dialogue with the people of the state and they will submit their recommendations after each visit.
