NSCN (I-M) rebels assure to work for peace

Dimapur, Oct 23: Affirming to uphold its commitment for peace and safety of the public, the NSCN(I-M) on Saturday, Oct 23 said its members would be assigned throughout Dimapur in order to check and prevent illegal activities.

Sources said NSCN (I-M) leader Kihoto Yepthomi stated that this step was being initiated in view of present situation that was confronting the Dimapur district by anti-social elements.

In connection with this, the NSCN (I-M) authorities have appealed to all NGOs, civil societies, churches, public leaders and concerned citizens of Dimapur to extend cooperation and prayer so as to effectively control these threats.
