Srinagar, Oct 23: The result of Leh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) elections, which was held in Oct 16 gave a remarkable positive outcome to the Congress party winning 21 of the 26 seats and leaving the Bharatiya Janata Party with just four.

As per The Hindu reports, this time the LAHDC took an interesting turn as the Ladakh Union Territory Front (LUTF), which headed the previous council and merged with the BJP has just won the minimum seat.

Meanwhile, the Congress won two seats uncontested, and an independent candidate also won a seat.

Tsering Dorjey, who headed the council as its Chief Executive Councilor, was among the BJP candidates who lost the seat.
