Rajasthan anti-terrorism squad arrests three Lashkar suspects
Jaipur, Oct. 22 (ANI): Rajasthan's Anti-Terrorist squad has arrested three suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba men.
They have been identified as Babu alias Nishachandra Ali of Bikaner, Arun Jain of Nagaur and Hafiz Abdul Majid of Jhalawar.
They were arrested on Thursday under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act 1967.
The state criminal investigation department said that preliminary investigations have revealed that Lashkar commanders in Pakistan were planning to carry out anti- India activities through the Indians trained on Pakistani soil.
State Government sources said that Additional Director of Police (ATS) Hemant Sharma has been assigned the task of conducting further investigations and interrogating the arrested Lashkar men. (ANI)
