JK: Gunfight continues between militants & forces

Bandipora, Oct 21: An gunfight on Thursday, Oct 21 broke out between three-four terrorists and security forces at Jammu Kashmir's Maloora village.

According to the sources some (JeM) Jaish-e-Mohammad militants were holed up inside a building, belonging to a property dealer in Bandipora.

The gunbattle is still on and the troops of 2 Rashtriya Rifles are trying hard to flush out the militants from the building. The entire place is surrounded by the security forces.

As the targeted building is located in a populated area of the town, many civilians were evacuating from the locality by the security forces before launching the operation.

However, till now no casualty is reported yet from the side of security forces.
