'Guj police kidnapped witness in Sohrabuddin case'

Ahmedabad, Oct 21: CBI came up with new direction in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case as the key witness Azam Khan on Oct 21 claimed that he was kidnapped by the Gujarat police.

According the CBI sources, Khan in a special statement before a magistrate in Mumbai, claimed that he was kidnapped by the Gujarat police on Sep 21 from the Gitamandir bus stand.

Khan also claimed that the police officials threatened him for giving statement against Abhay Chudasma and also bound him to write a false statement.

He also informed that the officials assured Khan that he would be given money, when Narendra Modi's former aide, Amit Shah would come out from jail.
