Civil N-deal: US not keen to talk with Pak

Washington, Oct 20: Rejecting all speculations, United States (US) claimed that the country was not in any discussion with Pakistan about the civil nuclear deal.

Ahead of US President, Barack Obama's visit to Pakistan and India, US Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Frank Ruggiero stated, "We"re not in any discussions with the Pakistanis on civil nuclear co-operation."

However, Pakistan desired to have a discussion with US on the important issue of civil nuclear deal.

Attending a seminar at the Harvard Kennedy School in Boston, Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated, "We certainly seek that (civil nuclear agreements) because we feel that there should be no discrimination."
