BJP tried to bribe our MLAs with Rs 5 cr: Congress

Bangalore, Oct 18: Another controversy hit BJP government in Karnataka when Congress leader, Siddaramaiah claimed that BJP tried to bribe its 53 of 73 MLAs with Rs 50 crore.

Siddaramaiah on Oct 18 also stated that beside the huge amount of money, BJP leaders called the Congress MLAs and offered them a ministerial berth in the state.

"Some MLAs whom the BJP leaders contacted over phone have recorded the conversation. We will soon make them public," informed Siddaramaiah.

His statement continued, "The Congress will reveal the proof on horse trading to media and also submit it to Governor, HR Bhardwaj."
