Bihar: RJD to tie up with Cong to dethrone Nitish?

Patna, Oct 18: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh claimed the splitting from Congress as a "blunder" and the party may join hands with Congress again to gain power in Bihar.

Ahead of the Bihar assembly polls 2010, Singh stated, "Even Lalu Prasad accepted that it was wrong to snap ties with the Congress."

His statement continued, "The RJD is not averse to joining hands with the Congress if the need arises."

Attending a rally in the state, Singh expressed the party's desire as saying that RJD's main objective was to dethrone the NDA from power in the state, governed by JD(U)'s Nitish Kumar.

He also assured, "One thing has now become crystal clear that Nitish Kumar is not going to stage a comeback."
