Tamil Nadu: 1 injured in Chennai airport accident

Chennai, Oct 17: Vehicles of two airlines collided at the Chennai airport terminal, resulting in minor injuries to one passenger, on Sunday, Oct 17, airport sources said.

According to the airport sources the incident took place between the vehicles of Kingfisher Airlines and Indian Airlines which clashed at the apron area in the Chennai domestic airport terminal.

Meanwhile, Jet Airways declared cancellation of two airlines to Bangalore and Chennai, but did not specify reasons.

Sources said the flights from Chennai to Bangalore were planned to leave on Sunday, Oct 14 morning.
