Sheila Dikshit blames Kalmadi for CWG corruptions

New Delhi, Oct 17: After Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi snubbed Commonwealth Games Chief, Suresh Kalmadi, now Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit accused Kalmadi for all corruptions in the Games and welcomed the investigation issued by Singh.

Dikshit on Oct 16 stated that the "suspicion" of corruption in the Commonwealth Games was on Kalmadi and the probe would clear the "cobwebs."

However, Kalmadi also welcomed the investigation and claimed that he and his team had delivered the Games successfully.

Home Minister, P Chidambaram stated, "That the government will have to fast track the probe and audit is pushed by the fact that the BJP is insisting on a complete probe. While Kalmadi is the focus, others should also be investigated."

"All aspects in total must be thoroughly investigated," demanded the BJP spokesperson, Ravi Shankar Prasad.
