Sena to install noise barriers at Dasara rally
"We would have noise barriers across the ground at certain distance to maintain the noise level of 50 decibels. The party has taken help from technical experts to do so," a Sena leader said.
For the first time, three generations of Thackerays would share the dais as the party is all set to launch Yuva Sena, to be headed by Aditya, grandson of Sena chief Bal Thackeray.
Earlier, Mumbai city police had denied permission to the Dasara Rally at Shivaji Park in central Mumbai, following which Shiv Sena moved to the High Court.
The Bombay High Court on Monday, Oct 11, permitted Shiv Sena to hold its traditional Dasara rally at Shivaji Park.
Over four decades old party, the Shiv Sena has been holding rallies every year on Dasara at Shivaji Park where party chief Bal Thackeray addressed party workers.
