'PM answerable for Cong remark on Bihar NDA govt'

New Delhi, Oct 17: After Congress claimed that National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government a failure in Bihar, BJP slammed Congress and claimed that Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh was answerable for the party's remark though it spared Rahul Gandhi from its criticism.

Claiming Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar as one of the best chief ministers, BJP chief spokesperson, Ravi Shankar Prasad stated on Oct 16, "Rahul is still learning, so I would not say anything. But the prime minister is answerable."

Prasad slammed Congress by saying, "I do not want to say anything against Rahul Gandhi as he speaks what his team tells him to."

"If his team did not do its homework properly, it is not Rahul Gandhi's fault. But the prime minister is a renowned economist and he should not make such statements," his statement added.
