Kalmadi meets Jaipal Reddy before GoM meet

New Delhi, Oct 17: Ahead of GoM meet on Monday Oct, 18, the Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi met Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy on Sunday, Oct 17.

Jaipal Reddy, who heads the group of ministers for Commonwealth Games, told after the meeting that Kalmadi came to him to wish Dasara festival greetings.

"He did meet me. It was a Dasara festival greeting," said Reddy.

The first meeting of GoM after the Games is on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday, Oct 16 Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit accused Kalmadi for all corruptions in the Games.

Welcoming the investigation issued by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Dikshit stated that the "suspicion" of corruption in the Commonwealth Games was on Kalmadi and the probe would clear the "cobwebs."
