Delhi: PM, Sonia to attend Dussehra on Oct 17

New Delhi, Oct 17: When the entire nation celebrated the Dussehra festival on Sunday, Oct 17, Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh and Congress President, Sonia Gandhi also would join the celebration in the capital.

Congress leader informed that both Singh and Sonia Gandhi would join the Dussehra festive at central Delhi's popular Ramlila Maidan.

Both the leaders, among other dignitaries, will watch the burning of effigies of demon King Ravan, his son Meghnad and brother Kumbhakarna as a mark of the victory of good over evil.

President, Prtibha Patil also greeted the whole nation on the great Dussehra festival.
