Hyderabad: PM to inaugurate TWAS on Oct 19

According to the official sources over 350 scientists from 35 countries are expected to attend the four—day meet of TWAS at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
Manmohan Singh will also lay foundation stone for the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) campus at Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
TIFR"s Hyderabad campus is built on a 200 acre site on the Hyderabad Central University premises at Gachibowli.
However, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Saturday, Oct 16, urged Manmohan Singh to cancel his plan at TIFR as the students and teachers of the Central University have opposed the allocation of land to TIFR.
