LK Advani demands JK CM Omar's resignation

New Delhi, Oct 17: BJP senior leader, LK Advani demanded Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah's resignation for his statement in Jammu Kashmir Assembly.

Attacking Abdullah, LK Advani said in his blog that , "Omar Abdullah is out of tune with the national mood. Omar's latest speech reveals that he is just an administrative failure. The earlier he quits the better it would be for Jammu Kashmir as well as for the nation."

Earlier, Omar Abdullah, asserted that Jammu Kashmir has not merged with India but only acceded to it under certain conditions and under an agreement.

“The accession of Jammu Kashmir to India has taken place but the state has not merged with the India. Hence, it can"t be placed at par with Hyderabad or Junagarh," Omar Abdullah said.
