Touch phones have more germs than flush handle

New York, Oct 15: The new trend is 'touch' and we all go for touchscreen enabled electronic devices. From small music player to high-end smartphone, we choose touch devices. But have you ever thought of germs on it?

A new study conducted by researchers in Stanford University has found that an average touchscreen mobile will have 18 times the number of germs the average flush handle in a men's rest room would have.

The study also found that 30% of germs on a touchscreen phone pass to the user's hands and a good percentage of that actually makes it inside the body.

Now just think before you use your touchscreen mobile.
