Delhi: Durga puja celebration marred by CWG?

New De3lhi, Oct 13: Though Durga puja celebration has started at other parts of the country from Oct 13, Delhi police denied to give permission to joy rides and carnivals in the city over the ongoing CWG security concern.

"No permission for mela, food stalls or joy rides will be given till the Games conclude on Oct 14," informed one official of Delhi police.

However, Keeping the public interest in mind, the police permitted to play loudspeaker for Durga puja and Ramlila upto midnight till Oct 17.

Durga puja, the biggest festival of the Bengalis is no longer remained neither within the bound of a specific state like West Bengal nor within only Bengalis.

It has crossed the national boundary also and the whole nation is celebrating the festival with special durga puja sms, durga puja wishes.
