JK: 5 kg RDX recovered in Ramban district

Jammu, Oct 13: Security forces have found 5 kilograms of RDX (Research Department Explosive) and several grenades from a suspected militant hideout in Jammu Kashmir's Ramban district on Wednesday, Oct 13, official said.

The RDX was recovered from militant close to Ramban district, about 150 km north from Jammu, the army source said.

Acting on a tip off, searches were launched by troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and huge number of arms and ammunition were recovered in Thanala belt of Ramban district, a Defence Spokesman said.

Five kilograms of RDX, a rifle, two grenades, 30 AK rounds, two A-K magazines, two detonators, a satellite phone and one matrix sheet, a binocular were among the recoveries.
