We can't progress without your help: Obama to US

Washington, Oct 12: While campaigning for the upcoming US Senate election 2010, Barack Obama urged the people of United States to support him to bring the country's progress as it desired.

"We've got a long ways to go, we can't get there without you," stated President Obama on Oct 11.

Using a sports metaphor to describe his predicament, Obama said, "I'm pretty good, I'm a pretty good point guard, but I can't do it on my own."

His speech continued, "On every important issue out there I am going to need help."

Obama is traveling around the country and trying to whip up enthusiasm among Democrats with polls showing Republicans are poised to pick up seats on Nov 2, 2010.
